Glossary Term: Back Link (BL)
Back links (BL) are the Anchor that has a hyperlink with your site as destination. For search engine, each link to your web-site is a vote to determine how important your web-site is. Common terms in link building is one-way link, two-way link and three-way link.
One-way link means a site link to you only without a reciprocal link from your site. This method of linking will give your site a higher linking score. It is also the method that our web directory network uses.
Two-way link link two web-site perform link exchange. Each site will place a reciprocal link to the other site. This type of linking usually receive a lower linking score.
Three-way link means web-site A will link to web-site B, web-site B links to web-site C, and web-site C will link back to web-site A. It is complicated and not time efficient. It is harder to manager and you receive less link back as it requires at least 3 web-sites in order to receive 1 back link.
