Glossary Term: Emphasis / Italics
Emphasis (Italics) tag is a type of formatting in the page content. The text appears top of the text slightly shift to the right and the bottom of the text slightly shift to the left. The text is not as loud and clear as bolded text. But it gives a clear message that the keywords that are emphasis has special meaning in it. Search engines usually give emphasis a higher keyword score than regular text.
