Glossary Term: Indexable

Indexable are the contents that store in search engine's database. Even though search engines may crawl through all the pages on your web-site, but not all contents will be stored. Most of the duplicate contents on your web-site will be dropped. If you create 1000 pages on your web-site with duplicate content, chances are, only the first page the search engine crawled will be searchable by users. Also, if you copy the full contents from another web-site, there is a very high chance that your page will not be indexed. As search engines will filter out duplicate contents.

To avoid your page content being filtered, the best thing to do is to have unique write ups. Instead of copying anything from other web-sites, hiring a professional writer with Search Engine Optimization experience will most likely help you to create more indexable pages by search engines.
