Underline tag is a type of formatting in the page content. It puts a line below to text. Usually anchor text has an underline belows it to indicate to user that it is an hyperlink. Underlines are usually being use by certain headers as well. The weight or keyword score for underline is not as important as bold or emphasis. But to make your document clear to readers, underline is a useful formatting.
